My gene pool includes a few steps into the paranormal, mostly telepathy and such. My particular talent is suggestive thought-casting. I won't bore you with the "how" details, but basically I mentally send suggestions to do something to people, and surprisingly often they comply.
So, I decided to trot out my skills and test them on some of Zeeke's Zombies. Starting a few weeks ago, I occasionally suggested to some of them that they use some of MY thoughts about Zeeke in their constant attacks on Bonnie, Guy and others. I Zombiefied the Zombies.
The best results follow. The effect was strongest on Ham, probably because of lingering ties created during our prior friendship. Or maybe because of her obviously weakening relationship with Zeeke due to the whole dust-up over Pretty's party.
What a loon! I can assure you that those thoughts were mine and have always been mine. I defy Christopher to find a "constant attack" by me on Bonnie. I don't even speak to the woman except to remind her of that very fact when she mentions me in her chat. Nice try...next time put on your tin foil hat and walk around outside to get clearer transmission of those mind melding thought waves you've got there. LMAO!!!

ReplyDeleteYou've made the same point about people starting ugliness several times over the last few weeks in response to crap started by either Guy or Bonnie. And this may surprise you, but I totally agree with you. Both Guy and Bonnie tend to DO that.
But I'd also agree with you IF you said it when the ugliness is started by, say, Zeeke. But you don't, so I did.
Or like this morning...
I'm part of the early morning group of roomies who nearly always have nice, light chat for a couple of hours. It's a disparate group... me, Sunnie, Mike, Rooster, Auto, BOO, Wilson and a few random others. Then Pikle arrived, and as is his wont, immediately started attacking Mike with his trademark coarse cussing, etc. This is what Pikle does on AOL, nearly every morning. And other mornings, Zeeke starts it.
And I guess that's the point I was trying to make thru my fictional use of thought-casting. People on "your side" say things about people on the "other side" that I believe apply just as much to Zeeke and his buds. You may certainly call me a loon, but it doesn't change the fact that people on "your side" start crap just as often (if not more so) as people on the "other side."
It all reminds me of the food fights in my college dining hall. Table upon table of small groups eating and chatting quietly, and THEN suddenly a buttered roll is lobbed at someone, and all hell breaks loose for awhile. Rolls, apple sauce, and creamed corn everywhere! In our situation, sometimes Guy, Bonnie, etc., lobs the roll. But just as often, Zeeke, Pikle, etc., lobs the roll.
Just think... if no one on either side "lobbed the roll," there wouldn't be ANY ugliness, would there? And we could all continue chatting peacefully with our buds...

ReplyDeleteI can't say that I've noticed that one way or the other with Ponie. I just see it as a recurring stupidity by many, usually said right after commenting on, or quoting from, a blog.
I don't believe I have ever said I don't read any blogs. I don't read many that are generated by this chatroom, but I do read a few that I find informative, funny or helpful that have been linked to me by friends and co-workers. Someone posted the Ugly Marylanders link in the room two or three weeks ago. Prior to that I had read it only a few times and had deleted the link.
ReplyDelete@ Christopher - I do not have a "side" to align with. Once again, you assume you know how I think or feel based on your own perceptions of what I do or do not say in a chatroom. Just because I CAN say something, doesn't mean I SHOULD..and just because I DON'T say something, doesn't mean I don't think it. I say what I want to say, if I want to say it, when I want to say it. Nothing I have ever said was driven by who would or would not agree with it. Your statement placed me in a group that you believe "constantly attacks" people, yet you cannot honestly say you have ever seen me, constantly attack anyone. It's just not my way. The statement you paraphrased wasn't even aimed at Bonnie, Guy or you. I specifically used the term "ass" because we all have a different view of who is annoying and disruptive in the room, and I don't assume that everyone has the same view of who those people are. I believe I made that statement after witnessing Tex or someone else attempt to instigate argument with Bonnie (or someone else, I really don't recall) for the umpteenth time that day and watched it erupt into an all consuming argument in the room and felt the need to speak what I thought. My message to you is - Don't use what I say in a chatroom for your own private agenda. I am not supporting anyone's message except my own. As with a few others, I don't speak to you - or about you - for my own reasons and I expect no more or less of you in return. It is the "civil" thing to do. Isn't that what you say you want in the room - civility? Make your point - blog your heart out - but leave me and my words out of it.

They cant see that the same thing "I" and Guy are doing, is the same thing Zeeke and a few others are doing....making nasty comments about what others say.......ragging on someone for past remarks........revealing truths about them self (including personal information). For instance,. like this morning.....Zeeke, Rose, Pikle and Ole Grumpy ass were in there talking about their back problems.......that kind of gives credit to what I have said as to them being SPINELESS! As far as Pprmintpatti goes...I have NEVER mentioned her or, said a damn thing to her until.......she started joining in with Zeeke and, making remarks about me along with him..and, I am sure that if and when I get the time to search my logs, I will find it.........It kind of started the time that she got the bolt to the room and then, handed it off to Zeeke. I can see her reasons for doing this..........how better to be part of the crowd than to kissing up to the one who thinks he is in control..and, with waht Patti did by giving him the bolt.........was further reinforcing that misconception to him. Funny though, how he thinks a lot of them are "marginally retarded" And, I can see his point........retarded people do as they are told...right or, wrong.....when they know no better!

ReplyDeleteWe have about 15 24/7 Campers and maybe 10 more who camp for several hours at a time here and there. Yes, several of the Zombies are guilty. But so are many others such as Guy.
It just seems to me more like some people are selfish, rude, and inconsiderate; but the vast majority aren't.

Well, those are clearly very different versions of the past. Fascinating...

ReplyDeleteBonnie's memory of room history is usually the same as mine. I've seen Beth and Zeeke, for example, state their memories of the origin of the dispute with Bonnie. It differs about 180 degrees from mine, and I'm probably one of the few who was actually around back then AND in frequent contact with Bonnie.
Perhaps they are trying to convince others that Zeeke is somehow not to blame for what happened? But the reality is that Zeeke launched frequent, long, unprovoked, and ugly attacks on Bonnie, and has continued to do so to this day. Although I strongly encouraged Bonnie to ignore Zeeke, she chose a different path and thus a room war was born and continues to this day.
For Beth, Zeeke and others to maintain otherwise is not only disingenuous, but likely an outright fabrication.
I've often noted that Zeeke has launched at least 20,000 insults my way over the past 5 years, and I have yet to respond to him even once. Nearly all of them have been ugly lies, which is what he does in the room as part of his "mindfuck game." With Bonnie, it must number well over 100,000. If Zeeke's persona in the room includes lying so frequently, so badly, and without remorse, why should anyone believe HIS version of history?

If nothing in the room means nothing to Cindy then why did she drive to meet Bonnie? Also why does she research all the different roomies she does not like if the room means nothing to her? I hope she doesn't believe her own lies.
