As many of you know, I'm both an avid gardener and a photography nut. The hobbies feed off each other because flower photography is my favorite genre of that art.
So, below are 10 of my favorite pics from my gardens so far this year. Enjoy...

I'm very pleased to note that Vomit responded to this article on his blog just a few hours after it was posted. I guess that allows Zeeke to now respond on his blog without violating his frequent claim of never EVER reading this blog. << snort >>

BTW, very nice pictures Christopher. I really like the iris, it is different than any iris I have seen. I also really like the coral bells. Are the coral bells shade plants? If so, I may get a few next spring.

ReplyDeleteI am back from 10 days in Phoenix, Arizona. I was doing a Stem Cell Donation Procedure for my sister at the mayo clinic. To do a cell donation you must frist be in great health.Took 4 and a half hours got more then she needs plus they was very good. Now my sister has a chance of living. One thing i sure learn from this , life is short and your number can come any time.

Most coral bells want full sun or at least several hours a day. A small number will tolerate light shade. They're also evergreen, generally.

This is the first year for the Kentucky lilies and they're at about 4'. 4-5' is a typical size, although you can get them up to 8'. Check the Old House site, they have lots of details on theirs.

They tend to carry more bulbs than Old House, they're cheaper, but their bulbs are not as exotic. Their measurements are also very conservative.

Zeeke's has averaged 0.1 (and no, that's not a typo). And Vomit's has averaged barely nine (even including the articles with comments by me that led to mega rants by the Zombies). Toss those out and Vomit's pathetic *little* blog runs just over SIX comments per article.
Soooooooooo, 0.1 and 6.5 vs. *46.4* qualifies as "we win bitch"? Talk about delusional...
If it were Little League, the Slaughter Rule would've been invoked long ago...
And I dual-post on Vomit's blog and occasionally dump some onto Zeeke's simply because I know that it irritates the crap out of both of them.
