Comcast, Verizon, etc have hubs spread all over the place where a given geographical area's internet/cable is junctioned and then sent down a main fiber optic line to Comcast/Verizon,etc servers. Could be that the location of the internet provider is routed from Essex to White Marsh. Comcast cable internet providers located in Catonsville area service most of the Halethorpe area and, would give IP addresses that are actually located in Lansdowne to Catonsville. I know that there is a way of tracking IPs to locate each individual user because, Law Enforcement does it. But, I am not sure how they do it.
ReplyDeleteWhat would make sense to me would be that, each IP provider has an individual IP for each user and, that if Law Enforcement has the need to locate one specific person, they would get a search warrant and pay a visit to said IP provider to locate that specific person.

I do know that those like Cindy and Rose and a bunch of the others criticize me for being in the same position they have been or, currently are. Or, for doing the same things in my life that they have or, still do in their own lives. I am well aware that most of these opinionated idiots are nothing but, hypocrites. Their trashing of me is a self defense mechanism that they use so that they can hide their situations.
That is what I have been talking about how these people are pretentious. They do this to impress those who they feel may be a benefit to them. In layman’s terms, people they can use!
On a previous posting where I commented as to what an amazing machine these computers are, how they can make people seem to be anything they want to be and, most do want to be a better than they actually are, it can make a derelict sound like a Harvard Grad! That is the magnitude of the situation here.
You know, the first time of telling someone associated with the internet that I had Hep C, was over the phone, to someone I had chatted with in the chat room, I can't recall his screen name but, he was a MARRIED teacher from Southern MD. When I told him, he hung up on me LOL! So, I then thought that, before he tells everyone, I should just tell them myself.

Someone who I had IM'ed with, sent me the exact same picture! It was of a guy looking out over a deck. I seem to recall him telling me that he was in the mountains and, it was winter but, that is about all I remember. This person was none other than, Zeeke!
Now someone else who I had IM'ed with had been to... what she called his "tree house" and, a few years after that, someone else was at his house and, said his deck was built around a trailer that he lived in, all of which was in Falling Waters West Virginia on Co road. Which on Google was nothing but, a trailer park! Which would make Zeeke, TRAILER TRASH!

Law Enforcement does it the easy way. They contact the ISP and either ask for the account information of the ISP or get a warrant and then the ISP turns it over along with all server logs related to that IP address.
DeleteIt's not hard to trace an IP even without an IP tracker if you know networking. IP addresses are like post office addresses. Each sector of the number translate to a location, country, state, town, then section block. Have a friend that works at an ISP company, they can tell you the location of that sector block (Usually a 1/2 mile radius). If you know how to do CIDR traceroute, you can get mac addresses of computers and can get a lat/long that's pretty much dead on.

ReplyDeleteI once used one recommended by Igor. It showed me living 10 miles from where I did at the time. I'm no fan of such tracing and, in fact, I think they're pretty useless except for giving you a general area.
I normally submit comments here while using an AOL Favorite Place. Don't they show up differently than if I use Internet Explorer? Were any of those 50 or so addresses AOL ones? If not, why not? If so, how can you spot them?
ReplyDeleteIf you use AOL as your primary IP, (signing into AOL to connect to the internet) then, your IP would show as one designated by AOL. But, if you use another service provider: Comcast, Verizon, etc.......to connect to the internet and then, sign onto AOL thru that service, then your IP address would show as one that service designates for your location. Now, you could use both I imagine if, you were paying for AOL along with your other service provider in which case, I believe that your IP address would show up from whichever internet connection you were using. That explanation makes sense to me but, what makes sense to me, is not really always the ways things are so, who knows!?

ReplyDeleteI've seen several news reports about that. A few have backup generators. Some spend most of the day at a mall. Some go stay with friends who are lucky enough to have power. Some go to motels. Some buy LOTS of ice. And many unfortunate souls simply suffer...

As far as the information that has been posted about MVM, that is not me doing it. MVM is the least of my concerns. I looked at his judiciary pages, to see if the info posted was accurate and, I found the traffic ticket from 2011 which, would have been the first thing I posted IF I were to have posted anything in regards to him!
In all honesty though, I am not convinced that the letters MVM that are used here to make it seem as though the comments written are truly coming from the real MVM. I mean anyone can post a name to make it seem as though it's coming from someone else! It has been done to me and many others! And, that is why I have not posted any of the judiciary postings on the real MVM!
I still say that those posting as MVM are those who dislike him and, one of those would be, Zeeke! Zeeke is into computers and, the "spying" and, he is a master of deception who, sees no harm in causing others problems. He gets off on causing others harm!

Not only have I never been on welfare in my life, I'll never need to be. Nor do I receive food stamps, Medical Assistance. Energy Assistance of ANY other form of public assistance! I have a very nice PENSION and health insurance from my former job that allows me to live just fine. Also on that topic...when a State of MD employee takes a disability retirement, the PENSION comes from the State of MD retirement Agency..NOT from an insurance company as I saw posted on here. I'll be more than happy to show the cancelled check for my monthly house payments to anyone as well as my bank statement showing a deposit from the State of MD Retirement Agency. Accidental disability which you wouldn't qualify for cause you stated this is for blood clots and that is not an accident. You would be under a permanent disability. Which also would not make sense cause it states you must be permanently disabled and I've seen you post that you're considering doing part-time work. Also, this does not come from the state right on their webpage: The ORP investment accounts do not provide disability benefits. You would also not be eligible for full disability if you are not at retirement age.

Now, in the current economic struggles this State is having, would they pay someone who retired on a disability because, they were unable to perform their duties and then, sit back and watch as that very person goes on to get another job performing the same duties she said her disability was preventing her from doing?
And then, sits in a chat room and claims that a person with actually physical disabilities has no right collecting Social Security for those disabilities and, goes on to say that because she can sit on a computer all day typing that, she could actually work!

That's complete Bullshit Cindy. Fatness is not a reason you can't work and they don't give out disability earnings very easily nor are they awarded permanently. First off you don't initiate it, your supervisor has to so busted right there. Both my mother, my brother, and my Uncle have retired on disability and two of them lost it. My mother had lupus and was a Baltimore County school teacher and it became so chronic that she was going out on short and long-term disability (which is also a requirement prior to any permanent) quite often. The principal was the one who started the process and it was denied the first time because she had two months successful where she could work. Then she had several hospitalizations and the parents in her class became quite upset because they had constant substites in the class and he pushed it through again and it was rewarded. She was only 52 and she had to provide medical paperwork every year about her medical state. Every three years it went through a review. At 65 they switched her over to her regular retirement and calculated in 13 years with cost of living raises.

That became an issue and they retired him on disability. He went back to school and got a job as an accountant and within months of him working he was called in front of the disability board and denied his disability because he had another job where he could sit.
My brother is a county firefighter who had to return to active status. He was retired on disability due to a neck injury and two years later a doctor deemed him fine for work so he's back on the job. So suck it you don't know what you're talking about.

ReplyDeleteI do, too. I refuse to go to automatic debits with companies where my bill varies a lot, like telephone. I've seen way too many examples of people getting screwed with huge (and wrong) bills.
So I limit the automatic stuff to bills with fixed amounts, like the cable company and pest control.
